CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

Eliminate any discomfort and boost your well-being with our craniosacral therapy service! We offer a full 10-step program specifically designed by the Upledger Institute.

Using gentle pressure on the head, neck, and back, we’re able to ensure the proper flow of fluids around the nervous system. This allows the body to self-heal and relieve any tension you might be experiencing.

What Is Craniosacral Therapy and How Does It Work?

Craniosacral therapy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and uses light touch to release tensions and restrictions.

With recurring stress and strains, the tissues in the human body can tighten, which leads to the distortion of the craniosacral system. This in turn causes tension around the brain and spinal cord. The goal of craniosacral therapy is to identify these problems correctly and solve them using a gentle touch.

With a manual approach, our practitioner will be able to feel out various locations of the client’s body to test for ease of motion and rhythm. Once they have an idea of the cause that’s causing the discomfort, they’ll be able to apply the corrective measures to release the restrictions.

What Can I Expect from a CST Session?

A typical CST session takes place in a calm, quiet, and private setting. The client is fully clothed and a warmed massage table is set up for them to lie on. Although every session is different depending on each individual’s needs, our practitioner will always ensure you a relaxing experience.

Who Can Benefit from CST?

Everyone! Since this practice uses a gentle and light approach, CST is a safe therapeutic method that can be applied to children and adults alike.
